A comforting and delicious dinner dish combining tender chicken, broccoli, corn, and pasta in a creamy sauce, topped with cheese and baked to perfection. Perfect for those busy back-to-school nights.
1. Fry the chicken in butter, minced garlic, and olive oil with salt, pepper, and crushed dried parsley until white and the juices come out. Turn off flame.
2. In a 9x13 casserole dish, add thawed broccoli, corn, uncooked pasta, and mix in the cooked chicken.
3. In the pot used for frying the chicken, mix half and half and chicken broth with garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian herbs.
4. Pour the mixture over the casserole and mix in hot sauce.
5. Top with shredded cheese and cover with foil.
6. Bake at 380°F for 20 minutes covered and another 20 minutes uncovered for a golden top. Optionally, broil for a few minutes for more color.
7. Enjoy once slightly cooled.
