A heartfelt tribute to Aido with a delicious shrimp biryani made with Falak Extreme basmati rice. This dish combines fresh shrimp, aromatic spices, and is layered with fluffy rice for a perfect meal to honor memories.
Wash the rice 2-3 times and soak for 10 minutes.
Set a pot of water to boil the rice, season with salt, and boil for 8-9 minutes.
Drain the rice and set aside.
In a large pot, heat oil and fry the shrimp in two batches for 2 minutes, then remove.
In the same pot, fry the ginger garlic, garam masala, fried onions, chilies, and tomatoes until tomatoes soften.
Add in the masalas, then shrimp and potatoes. Turn off the flame and sprinkle with cilantro and lemon juice.
Layer rice, biryani masala, and then more rice in the pot. Optionally add food color and oil on top.
